FAQ
Why should I book with you?
My goal is to create more than just beautiful photos, I want to create a relaxed, enjoyable experience where you feel comfortable being yourself. I’m a kind, patient photographer who loves capturing authentic moments, real connections, and memories that feel true to your story.
As a mom of two, I’m especially comfortable working with kids and families and understand the importance of preserving these fleeting moments. I’ll guide you throughout your entire session with natural posing and direction, so you never have to worry about what to do.
I believe in timeless images that reflect who you truly are, without heavy editing or making you look like someone else. I respect your privacy, value your trust, and strive to provide a personalized experience with beautiful images you’ll love at a price that feels accessible.
What is your photography style?
My photography is natural light and true-to-tone, meaning your photos will reflect real colors, natural skin tones, and the authentic feel of your session. I focus on using natural light to create soft, timeless images that feel warm, genuine, and true to life rather than heavily filtered or overly edited.
When you book with me, you’re choosing a style that preserves the real moments and emotions of your session just as they are: beautiful, natural, and authentically you.
How do I book a session with you?
I can’t wait to meet you and capture your memories! When you’re ready to book, submit a form on my 'Contact Page'. I’ll send over availability, answer any questions, and help you choose the perfect date.
Once your session is booked, I’ll guide you through the planning process and provide any tips you need to feel prepared. During your session, I’ll be there every step of the way with posing and direction so you can relax and enjoy the experience. Afterward, I’ll carefully edit your images and deliver a gallery of your precious memories.
Do you require a deposit?
A $50 deposit is required to secure your session date. Due to past cancellations, this policy helps protect my time and ensures availability for all clients. The remaining balance is due on the day of your session.
All deposits are non-refundable. I completely understand that unexpected situations can arise, and if an emergency comes up, I’m happy to reschedule your session. Your deposit will be applied toward your new session date.
What type of payments do you accept?
I accept payment via Cash, Zelle, Venmo, CashApp, or ApplePay.
Do you have a referral program?
Yes! The greatest compliment you can give me is referring your friends and family. When someone you refer books and completes a session, you'll receive $25 off your next session as my way of saying thank you. There’s no limit to how many referral rewards you can earn, so keep sharing the love! Know someone looking for a photographer? Send them my way!

Do I have to allow my photos to be posted on social media?
No. You are not required to have any of your photos shared on social media. As my client, you being comfortable and happy is my top priority. I fully respect everyone’s privacy choices, especially when it comes to children and family images. I understand and support that some people prefer to keep their photos private or not have children’s faces shown online.
As someone who values privacy as well, I personally choose not to show my own children’s faces publicly, so I completely understand and honor that preference in my work.
When you book your session with me, I always ask this question on my questionnaire so I know your preference before our session. You are my top priority!
Do you give out unedited or raw images?
No. Raw/unedited files do not represent the finished quality of my work.
Photography is more than capturing an image, it’s the process of creating a final piece of art. The editing process is where my creative vision, style, and attention to detail come together.
Providing raw files would be like a chef handing you a basket of ingredients and asking you to judge the meal before it has been prepared. The ingredients are only the beginning; the skill, preparation, and finishing touches are what create the final experience.
I deliver a carefully curated collection of professionally edited, high-resolution images that reflect the quality, consistency, and artistic vision you chose me for.
Do you edit every single image you take?
I don’t edit every single photo; I go through them to pick out the best photos from the session. If I love an image, I’ll send it in both color and black & white. The session type determines the number of images you will receive.
I’m not sure how to pose, Will you help direct me during the session?
Of course! I will have poses for you to do and will direct you the entire time. All you need to do is show up for your session with a smile and I will take it from there and guide you every step of the way.
Do you offer retouching?
I am able to do minor retouching, please discuss any concerns with me prior to the session. Additional fees may apply for extensive touch-ups.
How will I receive my photos?
You'll receive a link to your online gallery via email, where you can download your high-resolution images and share them with loved ones.
How long will you keep my photos?
I will keep your edited photos for 1 year after your session. Please make sure to download your entire gallery and keep them in a safe spot or multiple places/devices to ensure that you won't lose them. I only have a limited amount of space on my hard drives so I am unable to keep every single session for longer than a year. I will only keep your RAW photos for up to 6 months.
What happens if my kids don’t cooperate?
Kids are kids, and I completely understand that they may not always want to sit still or follow directions, and that’s completely okay! As a mom of two, I’m patient, flexible, and comfortable working with all kinds of personalities. I’ve also had the opportunity to work with autistic children and understand the importance of patience, flexibility, and creating a comfortable environment.
I don’t expect perfect behavior or forced smiles. Some of the best photos come from the silly, playful, and in-between moments. I’ll take the time to help your children feel at ease and guide your family through the session so it feels relaxed, natural, and true to you.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Florida weather can be unpredictable! I’ve had many sessions where storms were intense just an hour or two before, and then the skies cleared up beautifully. I’ll always keep an eye on the forecast and reach out if weather becomes a concern. If you don’t hear from me, assume your session is still on as planned!
If there is severe weather, we’ll discuss rescheduling for another available date. If I recommend rescheduling due to weather concerns and you choose to continue with the session, I cannot guarantee the outcome of the images and will not be responsible for weather-related issues.
Can we reschedule if something comes up?
Absolutely! I completely understand that life happens, especially with kids. As a mom myself, I know that sick days, unexpected things, and changes in plans happen. I’m very flexible and just ask that you give me as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule.
If possible, I recommend trying to reschedule within 7–14 days of your original session date. If your child is sick, please don’t feel like you have to push through the session. I want everyone to feel their best and have an enjoyable experience!
If you miss your session without letting me know, the deposit is non-refundable.
Do you take weddings?
I don’t typically photograph full weddings, as my heart is truly in lifestyle photography. I love creating meaningful, authentic images that capture genuine moments and connections while also allowing me to balance my role as a stay-at-home mom, which is incredibly important to me.
That being said, I do offer engagement sessions, occasionally second-shoot weddings for a few hours, and I’m happy to photograph local elopements or intimate courthouse weddings when my schedule allows.
