Hey! I'm Alexis, a lifestyle photographer based in Okeechobee, Florida. I'm also a wife and a proud mama to two beautiful children. Motherhood is my greatest joy and my ministry, and it has shaped the way I see and capture the beauty in everyday moments.
Though I now call Okeechobee home, I grew up in North Palm Beach and spent a lot of my childhood serving alongside my family through my dad's ministry, Pura Vida Missions, in Costa Rica. Those experiences gave me so much love for Jesus and a heart for serving others that continues today.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me embracing a simple, intentional lifestyle. I enjoy making healthier, more non-toxic choices for my family, baking sweet treats, tackling DIY projects, creating with my Cricut, and slowly learning the art of sewing. One of my greatest joys is opening our home to host friends and family because I believe some of life's sweetest memories are made gathered around the table.
I gained an interest in photography when I was 15 years old and have loved growing my skills since then. In 2024, I took a leap and started offering photography services. I have loved every moment and find so much joy in meeting new people and families. Thank you for your support in my journey, I can't wait to create something beautiful with you!
My approach
My approach to photography is centered on capturing genuine, authentic moments that reflect who you truly are. While I'll provide gentle guidance with posing, I always leave space for natural movement, real emotions, and candid interactions because the most meaningful images are the ones that feel like you.
I believe beautiful photography should be accessible, not just a luxury. That's why I'm committed to offering high-quality sessions at an affordable price, making it possible for more families, couples, and individuals to preserve their memories without compromising on quality.
My editing style is natural-light focused and true to tone, creating timeless images that stay true to your skin tones, colors, and personality. Rather than heavy retouching or overly filtered edits, I aim to deliver photographs that feel genuine, classic, and beautifully real.
